HOW CLASHES & DISAGREEMENT CAN BRING Solutions, to Divisions in Freedom Movements across Canada, North America, and the Freedom Loving World.
Controversy – Challenging & Meaningful Conversation – Compromise & Solutions
Radio and/or video conversations, etc., are in the works between everyone involved!
Controversy is hopefully bringing these leaders together to discuss, debate, and ideally come away agreeing on more than they disagree. Maybe in fact, modeling the pillars to unstoppable available solutions to united freedom lovers everywhere.
Going out on a limb here, I’m suggesting that inside the pending conversation the controversy below sparked, we will soon see and understand models for immediate change, cohesion, and unstoppable progress for the freedom movements across North America and beyond.
Excitement, enthusiastic support, a desire for added clarity, and to hear more, was the initial public response by Canadians, to Alberta’s new United Freedom Party (UFP) co-founders Luke Denis, and Chris Hampton 2nd ever public interview, conducted by Will Dove, a well-respected Canadian investigative reporter.
The public expressed gratitude too, at the breath of fresh air, and palpable hope in our message.
Voicing his loudly unimpressed reaction, in writing and on his weekly radio program (linked below), Robert Metz’s assertions, as one of the original co-founders of the Freedom Party of Ontario, back in 1984, still, with strong ties to the party, could be summed up when he said the interview with the UFP founders was nothing but “utter irrationality and contradictory statements”.
Robert Metz soon levied a few more hard challenges, including this:
“For the most part, the UFP’s perspective on politics and the economy is incoherent, contradictory, and so bizarrely oblivious to any kind of consistency or civilized standard that it is difficult to comprehend what kind of people would support such madness. The principle of justice, due process, or consent is nowhere to be found in their rhetoric. “We don’t need their bloody permission” they say of their fellow Albertans.”
in the article below his Just Right radio show on February 7th, entitled: United Freedom Party of Alberta – neither united no free.
Both disagreement and agreement, was heard in reactions from John C.A. Manley, a writer of a popular blog, and author of “Much Ado About Corona” a short dystopian urban fantasy, who wrote three short pieces mentioning the interview.
In John’s first, February 2nd article: Would a freedom-based society devolve into “Lord of the Flies”? he said this:
The other night, I started listening to an interview with the founders of the United Freedom Party of Alberta, Luke Denis and Chris Hampton. I think they have a very clear definition of what freedom means:
The ability to act as you choose as long as you do no harm to others or to the environment.
A society based on freedom first, would leave everyone free to determine for themselves how best to live their lives — so long as it doesn't infringe on the freedom of others to do the same.
That's the safeguard you have in a society based on freedom. It's not divisive at all, but the most inclusive. It upholds the rights of the only true minority — the individual.
In his blog’s Feb 8th post, Freedom Party of Ontario president has "absolutely nothing positive to say" about the United Freedom Party of Alberta John published portions of Robert Metz’s written reaction where the former political leader added criticisms such as:
"I recorded an audio track of the entire interview [with the founders of the United Freedom Party of Alberta]. I think it will serve as a perfect exhibit of how NOT to promote individual freedom, and [is] reminiscent of my own mistakes made back in my Libertarian daze in the 1970s."
The following day, February 9th, John C.A. Manley published: "the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being" agreeing with Chris Hampton’s closing statements calling out all artists
Then, on February 12th, John joined in Bob’s criticisms, publishing “I can't believe it but I'm actually defending Bill Gates here…” where he states to start: Luke Denis, of the United Freedom Party of Alberta, made this heated statement in his January 31st interview on The Iron Will Report:
"Bill Gates, in a TED Talk, said, 'Oh, his new vaccine roll-out should kill 15% of the population.' That man should have been murdered and ripped apart on stage. That guy is a piece of garbage."
In response, Bob Metz, president of the unaffiliated Freedom Party of Ontario, said this on episode 846 of Just Right:
"As much as I might also believe that Bill Gates is a piece of garbage, to call for his murder — in those words — and being ripped apart on stage is an unconscionable suggestion — especially for a spokesperson of a political party expecting to be taken seriously. Obviously, a justice system and due process are not in the playbook of the [United Freedom Party of Alberta]."
I'm going to have to agree with Bob Metz on this one — for three reasons…”
In private emails and conversation, John has been terrific. Challenging, insightful, and interested in helping to connect Robert Metz, whom he has great respect for, with Luke and I, for a proper conversation to see if we can’t hash out a whole lot more than answers to the concerns raised already.
On behalf of the United Freedom Party, Luke and I are delighted by the impassioned response of all kinds.
Even more exciting will be the coming conversation(s) with Robert Metz, hopefully, and John C.A. Manley, to be certain. Either way, the example we talked about and model for making real change will be on display.
People who love freedom, should be working together, on three things:
Our flags (where are we going, to agree)
Our roadmap, execution short term (getting there)
Our execution, long term (managing and protecting greater freedom)
There’s a lot to discuss and come to agreement on, in the freedom loving world, to enable us to protect and grow freedom for our children, and future generations.
#FreedomUniting can say, always has said, #FU to the establishment.

Robert Metz asks, "what kind of people would support such madness?" Me. I loved the interview Chris and Luke gave to Will Dove. It was a breath of fresh air. For most of human history we didn't have institutions of justice and we certainly didn't have a massive bureaucracy managing an economy. People worked those things out among themselves. Now we have such intrusive governments all over the world and justice for all is one of the first things that has gone missing in all of them. Metz must have left his libertarian roots stuck in the soil somewhere behind him. What Chris and Luke were advocating for was human freedom with personal responsibility. Personal responsibility scares the bejeebers out of most people these days. I don't think we can have real freedom without it.
